I am Spudzilla hear me roar
This is a post on World of Warcraft, if you don't like the game DON'T READ THE POST. Simple as that :P

So it's been more than a month now since the Burning Crusade expansion has come out. A lot of people have gotten 70, along with the epic flying mounts which I think cost 5000g! Yeah, kinda sick. I've been slowly grinding my way through...the exp it takes to level is just insane. It was 200k exp to get to level 60 and it jumped to 500k to get to 61. Not fun. My hunter is 66 and almost 67 :) Takes 710k exp to level...wow o_O Go figure Will got to 70 in like 3-4 weeks. Some people say I play too much...

Anywho, the expansion is jam packed with instances. There are at least two in every single zone. That's a lot of instances to do! I did one yesterday called Auchenai Crypts...it was very challenging. There are only two bosses in the entire instance, but they are hard bastards. Our group died like 15+ times trying to kill them. The end boss is kinda cool though because he makes clones of the members of your party to fight for him. We had two mages, and they kept getting cloned and hitting me with nasty fireballs. I got cloned a bunch of times as well...my clone put down freeze traps haha Still, I think it's pretty cool that all of the different classes have unique clones.

The instance was challenging, but in a way rewarding. Sure, I couldn't use the items that dropped, but it felt good to down the bosses after so many failed attempts. It felt like all the times in EQ when I was raiding. Brought back something that I really missed.

Will is thinking of quitting soon, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do. It's really hard to play with him because he works the graveyard shift. Kait's thinking of coming back, but last time she did that she played for about a week :( My one thought was to move to Gilneas, so I would have at someone that I know playing on my server (Brandon). Maybe it's time to hang up the MMORPG shoes for awhile too, not sure.

Alright, in an effort to start posting again, I think I'm gonna take the sage advise of Kait and write about Heroes after they air on Monday nights.

One Hostile SituationCollapse )

Guess I have a lot of questions that haven't been answered. I guess that's a good thing because it will keep me coming back and wanting to know what happened.

I've been really frustrated with DDR lately. Not improving enough to inspire me to play. Can't improve my crap scores because they are hard for me and can't improve my other scores because they are either challenging or really close to being AA'd. I played again today figuring that I needed a good workout and brought my scoresheet with me.

I was doing better than I had been, dunno if I feel pressured to do better when Will is there because he's so much better than I am now or what. I improved a bunch of my scores which, really made me happy. Of course, I still have some songs that are being stubborn (Sexy Planet, 2 greats from AA for example), but I had a fun day.

My last round was pretty bad. I played with this high schooler and we did a set of Dead End, Xenon, R&P, I feel, and EE. My PA decided to run and hide since someone else was playing. I got like 180+ Greats on the first 3 songs. I figured that I was gonna die on EE. He wanted to do it as the third song, but I didn't want to do it. Anyways, I ended up having a full life bar halfway through the song and thought that I could do it, I coulid finally pass it. I pushed myself to keep going and I DID IT. I FINALLY beat Exotic Ethnic to have all the non-10's in Extreme beaten. The funny thing is that I beat the guy on all the songs we did even though I was great attacking it up...

Glad that was my last set, cause all cata's is very tiring!

Yep. I'm gonna graduate on Saturday! :D

Only downside is that my TSJ teacher is making me read a 300 page book and write a 3 paper paper on each chapter to recieve credit since I didn't pass my second student teaching assignment -_- Wants it by Tuesday too. It's gonna really put my procrastination skills to the test, but I need to do it.

I returned to Oswego for my final semester today. Finally time to come down the stretch and finish this. I've always hated moving days, but today wasn't that bad. The graduate dorm is pretty nice. I have a full sized fridge, a kitchen just down the hall, and a double bed :D The only thing that sucks is that there is only one washer and dryer per floor. Laundry days are gonna SUCK.

Aside fromm that, I went to BK and hung out with Kait while she was on her break from Walmart. When she had to go back, I went with her and I came home with a new pair of shoes :) I even got to see her leet cashier skillz :P

Yesterday was the last day of camp. It was a great closure to an absolute blast of a summer. It might even top last year! None of the kids wanted me to leave. At 4, they all surrounded me and glomped me. It was the first time that I had to fight back tears because I was leaving a job :(

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I lost 18 pounds this summer, so I'm down from 182 to 164 :D

Over the weekend I went to visit Will in Conneticut. We hung out and played games for most of Saturday, which was fun. He went to a WoW raid and I ended up reading both of my Inuyasha mangas and played my DS a bit.

I found out from Will Schmarder's friend Casey that Foxwoods had Supernova, so I decided to suggest the idea of going to play. Will actually agreed to it, which I found surprising since he's not a huge DDR fan. He invited his friend Colette to come with us. The 3 of us went out for pizza and then headed down to the casino. Will's sister Kristin met us there and played for a bit too.

Supernova was fun. Not horribly impressed with the new songs, but it was the first time that I've played it. Mugen and Rainbow Flyer are pretty fun. You can chose the difficulty of the songs that presented. Of course, I didn't know that there was an all songs mode, so I didn't have access to all of them since neither of them were that good. You can also pick a character for the background. The backgrounds are pretty cool too.

I did alright, but smoking is allowed inside the casino. My mouth dried up after every song and my stamina suffered from it. I played one round against this Asian girl. First song was V Oni. Ouch. She A'd it and I failed at the end. I chose to play Daikenkai and kicked her ass. Then she picked Breakdown and I was screwed.

Will decided to drive 80 on this back road on the way back. I thought I was going to have a heart attack. After the accident, I don't like backroads AT ALL. When we arrived at Will's, we played Magic for about 4 hours. We had FX on and the were having a scary movie marathon. So we watched Nightmare on Elm Street and Poltergeist 3 as well lol. Neither Will or Colette had played before, so I had to teach them. Will used my black deck for every game and won each one. Lucky bastard. I went to bed at 5 am o_O

Will kept asking me if I wanted him to hook me up with Colette -_- She's a nice girl, but not my type. Must be he wants me to find a girlfiend. All I know is the time will come when it happens.

We didn't get up until 2pm the next day, so there wasn't much that we could do. I had my tennis racket with me, so we decided to go play a game of tennis. He beat me and that's pretty sad considering it was the first time he had played in 4 years >_<

I listened to Let Love In by the Goo Goo Dolls about 4 times in the car during the trip. I really like it =) I also bought the new Shinedown CD, which is a little disappointing considering how good their previous album was. However, after that kick ass show they put on at K-Rockathon, I'll buy their CD just so they can keep going.

Well I wanted to write about the concert a little sooner, but I couldn't because I've been busy. I'm regretting that now because I forgot the set list :/

The concert itself was absolutly amazing. It rivals being the best concert that I've ever attended. They played for an hour and a half, which included a ton of great music. I don't think I've ever heard so many singles in one concert lol I've been to quite a few, so that's a hard thing to do. They are just so passionate and energetic about their music and it showed. Heck, even my mom was entertained by the show (She's only heard of Iris). The only thing that really sucked was that nobody around me really liked them. I wanted to sing and stuff but I felt really out of place. Kait, it's all your fault for having a medical procedure on the day of a great concert! :p

I thought I might mention that Jon was wearing a wife beater and his silly hat again. Totally not what one would think he would wear lol. Robbie was in jeans and a Nirvana shirt. His singing wasn't that bad either surprisingly. He sang Tucked Away and Smash!! haha

I found out from the local paper today that Counting Crows were bad. Evidently, their lead singer decided that he didn't feel like singing their set and changed the set at the last minute. Aren't you supposed to be promoting your album and playing your music for the people that pay your salary?

So yeah, further proof that the Goo Goo Dolls need to be the last act for their concerts.

Dude, what the hell? I'm up before 7 am on a Saturday. Got up on my own too. That's just really really odd. I feel refreshed though.
